    AS PART OF THE WIRED OPEN LABS WORKSHOP SERIES 2021

  • IN THIS 4 Hour Workshop you will learn

  • How to compose, frame and capture the best landscape shots;
  • Use of time of day and incidental objects to create maximum interest;
  • Which camera states and D-SLR settings best suit landscape photography;
  • How to use editing software for maximum benefit;

Who Should Attend?

Introductory class suitable for beginners and enthusiastic amateur photographers.

What You'll Get

Throughout the workshop each attendee will put into practice what they learn and have the opportunity to discuss their results with David and fellow participants.

Participants will also be provided with a yummy snack and refreshments including water, organic teas and French press coffee.

What to bring 

Please bring a digital SLR camera you are familiar with. A smartphone with a high quality camera is also recommended.
To avoid waste, please bring your own water bottle and keep cup.

The Wired Lab is a registered provider of the NSW Government 'Creative Kids' Program, which entitles parents and carers of young people to a $100 voucher towards a creative activity. Please contact us directly before enrolling to ensure the workshop is suitable for your child. Vouchers can be claimed here then please provide us with your child's full name, date of birth and voucher number. We will issue you a discount code for use at checkout.

BUSHFIRE SUBSIDY

Thanks to donations, our 'Pay it forward' scheme and wonderful partnership with Castleden Co we offer subsidised and free workshops to those impacted by the Dunns road bushfires. A brief EOI is required to self nominate or nominate a friend. Please contact us for more information.

ABOUT DAVID

David Ferguson’s photography work has taken him all over Australia and to several countries around the world.
After a brief flirtation with fashion photography David turned his focus to weddings and ran a wedding photography business for some years.
Shooting almost entirely with natural light he has taken his studio lighting techniques with him through his 14 year journey and applied them to the natural world.
